Alrighty guys, it looks like the team is filled.

Barky gave me a call today and confirmed, Also Rico aka Danny who was there last year said he will be taking off work for it and giving me money beggining of Aug.

Sorry Wings, looks like we filled up faster than i expected but you will be first to call if we do need another.

Once i get the final 3 dudes money i'll have us registered by mid august.

Also i'll be posting a Thread in the Event planning about basic stuff that worked well at the 5v5. and some stratagy to think of since we all are not Speedballers here.......but Barky will def fill that gap.  Laughing

Okay everyone. I Plan on registering soon even though we are short payment of one player. It was Danny and he couldnt get off work. So right now im thinking of our options but we have pretty much gone threw everyone on the team and now were down to asking friends who play, or friends who never played but have hte money to play lol.

So Any recruits who plan on joining Delta Squad i would like to give you the opportunity to play with us at this tournament. Don't think of this as something where you have to be a sweet tournament style player.

As long as you don't mind a quick intense paintball game on a smaller field, wanna run a little bit and have quick reactions, it's not a whole lot diffrent from normal woodsball. Plus we will be there every step of the way!

lol sounds good, I'm not sure what it will be like getting the camera on the field. Since there will be alot of paint flying and we dont wanna give away any positions of course....but maybe from a distance or on side of field we can get some camera set up with some people.

Rules for the field from Barky: Still have no idea where he got these on Splatterpark.com site, but here they are.

Here is a complete list of rules listed from the website. Its confirmed, they are the same.

http://www.splatterpark.com/secondary_pages/3_man_jam_rules.htm

Ramping: 15 BPS cap PSP mode is allowed. Rebound on Ions and Shockers are ok if capped at 15 BPS. No full auto. No breakout or other ramping features. Ramping BPS Definition: Ramping BPS is a feature added to circuit boards that allows the gu...n to accelerate how many shot it fires per trigger pull. It can be activated by a sequence of trigger pulls or other button combinations, or through the circuit board itself. It is activated at all different Balls Per Second as well. Ramping FPS Definition: Ramping FPS is a feature on circuit boards that allows a board to adjust the dwell setting, thus increasing the markers velocity. This can be activated at a certain ball per second rate, or through other combinations of buttons or on the board itself.

paintball are delivered down the barrel for each pull and release of the trigger. A trigger pull is defined as a conscious mental effort to pull and release the trigger. Trigger bounce is not allowed. There must be only one ball projected f...or each pull and release of the trigger. Bounce is described as, but not limited to, the switch in the gun giving more than one electronic "pull" signal per pull and release of the physical trigger. The first offense is an elimination of the offending player, even if it is after the game at the chronograph station. The second and subsequent offenses are elimination and a 50 point penalty, per offense. Reactive triggers fall under the bounce rule since there is a physical bounce to the trigger, not an electrical one.

Players may use a single, 68 caliber, pump or semi automatic paintball marker, which consists of a single barrel, a single trigger and a gravity feed style magazine. Double action trigge...rs are prohibited. All markers must have a trigger guard firmly mounted to the marker. All markers with any form of external velocity adjuster must be modified in such a way such that the velocity adjuster is not readily accessible during the course of the game. Depending upon make or model of the markers, some may require beaver tails and or tournament caps or may require multiple tourney caps. All tourney locks/caps, regardless of mechanical or electronic must be in place and activated. Autococker type markers, or markers with an externally accessible cocking rod, are required to have a Beaver Tail. Markers may fire at any rate of fire, and may shoot any number of paintballs, provided that no more than one burst of gas and one

ALSO: Game is Capture The Flag which he says on the forum, Not sure if its like Real capture the flag, or Center Flag though. Or sometimes it can be a mix of both. with two flags in middle?

From OHioPBX from dude in charge.
Quote:
same rules....and if you read the rules they are mostly for safety and field standards.
format is Capture the Flag.
8 minute time limit
15 BPS...semi, ramp, rebound.
NO FULL AUTO
captains meeting will cover this and other things to remind captains they are responsible for their teams.
pump guns are perfectly fine to use.

Look above i updated to keep organized.

Carmen have you found a place to meet?

It would be safe if we all get there by at least 8 AM.

Registration ends at 8:30

Captains meeting is at 8:45

We need to be ready to go at 9:15.

Carmen please bring your Pod filler.

Everyone try bringing enough pods for a case worth, so if you have more extra pods laying around bring them.
