I guess this is the best sub-forum to post this in....

As many of you may or may not remember I offered to make a new banner for the team some time ago but I've been real busy so I just recently got around to designing it.  Below are 4 diferent options for the new banner that Bingo and I have refined for a team vote.  These layouts are for the banner but any one of them can be shrunk down to a car decal size.  You don't need to vote for the same one for the banner and car decal.

Don't just vote above but post your choice here too.  This way if non-team members decide to vote too only the teams votes will count but the poll above will make a nice way of quickly counting votes if it's used correctly.  This is a multiple choice poll so you should be able to vote for both you favorite banner and your favorite for the car decal.

I'm not going to vote for 2 reasons.
- First it would be like asking a Dad to choose one of his kids over another.
- Second and more importantly I'm not actually a member of Delta Squad so it's not really my place to vote anyway since this is a team decision and as a non-memeber I shouldn't sway the vote one way or another.

Now I'm going to point out the advantages and disadvantages for each option.

Option #1 with the white background will be the easiest to read in low light but will start looking "old and dirty" if not properly maintained quickly.

Option #2 as a banner it will kinda look like the text is just "floating" there at dusk/dawn but as the car decal I can remove the black and let your tinted window fill that part in this way you can still kinda see thru the decal.

Option #3 and #4 are brothers so I'll review them together.  #3 has the bottom 2 lines more subtle than the words "Delta Squad" and #4 has all the text equally readable.

Click on any of the samples below to see them HUGE, and I mean HUGE!

Option #1

Option #2

Option #3

Option #4

In addition on voting you may also make comments on changes to the layouts and if enough of your teammates would like to see your change I'll post it up!

-Tim

I'm the same way for the banner, i like #3 & #4. For the car i really dont know, id probably say the 1st or 2nd. I Really wouldnt want to put camo on my car becuase then it would look like some red neck bumper sticker if you ask me.

I forgot to vote on the 3rd one for banner lol in the poll woops....if it gets down to the wire after everyone votes, and everyone likes 3 and 4 id take 3 over 4.

Did somebody say T-Shirts?  Ok this has NOT gone thru Bingo yet just tossing it out there to get comments and or votes too!

Click on any of the samples below to see them larger

Option #1

Option #2

Option 1 with White Lettering Option 2 with Khaki lettering.  The reason I went this direction is printing is not cheap and the more colors you add the cost goes up fast!  Option 1 is more visable if your lets say shopping at Sam's Club and Option 2 is more subtle incase you want to use it to actually play paintball in it.  Another way to cut costs would be move the Back graphic to the front and have nothing on the back, even tho that front logo is very small 80% of the cost in printing is setup.

Good thing since I only do signs, I can't print on to cloth but I can get your aunt the artwork in a way she can use it so it's at least consistant.

Patches are a totally different animal from signs, t's and hats and if Saber's aunt can't do them you might have to go online but getting them marpat may be the trick, you might have to pick a solid color background and another solid for the lettering to keep the cost realistic.  Dark green with black is the most popular for that combo.

we still have a bunch of patches to use yet. Banner thing I am with also and car decals. Patches why spedn the money when we have them already. Unless we can get someone to make them for us as Squirlly has volunteered to do with this on the banner and car decal.

I have not seen any marpat t's with a reasonabel cost we can justify. I know jbird got the black with the white we have at a low cost. I am game guys it is a a team thing we have to decide on. Not just me....

http://www.militarycraft.com/t_sh...rts/woodland_digital_camo_tshirt/

$10.95 for Normal Sizes and Just $3 more for 3X

http://www.armysurplusworld.com/product.asp?ProductID=10134

Starts at $7.99 ea and again up to 3X Available

http://www.themilitaryman.com/ind...ageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=180

Long Sleve, Starts at $8.10 ea

http://www.vtarmynavy.com/marpat-woodland-digital-t-shirt.htm

$7.95 with 3XL just a buck more.

These are all blank but with printing I bet you can get these printed and sell them for $20-$25 maybe even less and still make a buck or two.

Did some more research on the T's General Merchandise has some MarPat t's for $6.95 each thru XL and up to 3XL in the catoluge (2 and 3X will be slightly more of course, as always).

John will sell to me at a discounted rate if you all order 2 dozen or more.  If we find a discount printer that will print on our shirts then we might be able to get the T's for around $10-$12 each COST then if you sell them for a minor markup you can have some team funds for this web site hosting fees or what ever else might cost the team $ in the future.

Thanks Squirlly for the new banner and it is great looking also guys. The window decals are great looking he made also.

If I remember correctly he can make them smaller for the cars for you guys as mine is big for the van for advertisement purposes or exposure to the public for us. They run about 5.00 a piece is what I believe they cost if you want one.

So hte banner will see its first game at Sherwood along with the original as we will hang both on the sides of the pop up.

Yeah Bingo, I just did the math and I can do $5.00 each for the car decals and still make a buck or two off a run.

OldDog if Bingo says you can have a pair of the banners I'll be happy to make them at my cost, sorry only the 1st one was free Cool I can inform you on that cost in PMs if you want it as I really don't alot of people to know that price.

Just so you know the banner would retail at about $250 each and the car decals would retail at $12 each at the 7" tall by 12" wide I made them for Bingo.

Old Dog and I discussed Car Decals Saturday out at the field so I decided to come up with a price list which includes some sizes that are HUGE becase Old Dog wants to plaster his whole truck cap but the 4 smaller options I can see the rest of the team wanting.  The pricing on all this has gone up since we last spoke so it will be $6.00 each for the size Bingo has on his van but the 6" size is close in size but becase of having to chage by the square foot it's only $4.00.

The $20 Mininum is a team Min. and seeing as OldDog has already personally met the Mininum anyone ordering within the next couple of days won't have to wait.  Later on if you place an order I might wait a couple of weeks for other order to get to the $20 or I might just charge a $2 under mininum order fee to cover the cost of the wasted material needed to load the machine

Just a couple of options listed are any color background or no background at all what is grey would just not be there at all,  so I've did a sample of that below including Dirdy's custom "PowderPuff" division decal...
