Had my Crossfire tank hooked up to my gun and about 20 shots in it just exploded and air was coming out of the the birds nest and drained 3000psi... I think that's what its called... So I tightened both of them up with a wrench, but there's no air left in it to see if that was the problem...
I have only had it for a year.
Any ideas?

Sounds like a burst disk blew. If it's the high pressure (5K) disk the reg is most likley fried or someone severly overfilled it either way the reg needs rebuilt. If it was the LP Disk just have it replaced and if it happens again have the reg rebuilt.

Ah hell... Well I had them fill it up at red dragon some two weeks ago, and they only got it up to 3000 psi... So it definitely was not overfilled, and it has been sitting for two weeks. I pump 20 shots through and it bursts... gah...
Old dog, do you have a place that rebuilds hpa tanks? |
