Irish War of Independence

This has been suggested on the Forum as our June Scenario event and I think we should go for it.

Been thinking about the format for this one and there will probably be lots of urban combat between regular British Army troops and small bands of rebels who will pop up all over the "secure" British controlled areas creating havoc.

The Irish will score points by capturing or destroying British strong points or assets. Because the Irish will be in very small groups, they should probably plan on being wiped out soon after they attack because the Brits will be an organized group of soldiers. Brits will score points every time they retake or hold an objective, and for the Irish they eliminate. Problem is they will be spread thin and they will NEVER know where the Irish plan on hitting them. Irish will have bombs they can place, and the Brits will have to disarm them once they find them. I think I can make this game "interesting"

if it is one day game that is to far to drive for just one day game. Unless we are going up on a Friday night and stay then go to the game on Sat. IMO....
