Since we use the digital MarPat as the team pattern, I wanted to be sure everyone could find it.
MarPat, or "digital woodland" as it is sometimes called (although not all digital woodlands are MarPat) is the official pattern of the USMC. The predominant color is Coyote Brown which is a perfect match for midwestern dirt. Other colors, in order of dominance, are Marine Green, Black, and Coyote Tan.
The USMC also has a desert version of MarPat, sometimes called AriPat, or Digital Desert, and knock-offs abound. Be carefull when ordering that you don't pick the desert version by mistake. Might work nice in the late Fall and Winter though.
Digital patterns with Olive Drab as the primary color are not MarPat, they are "Jungle Stalker," or if the rest of the colors match regular woodland camo, "Digital Woodland." If the primary color is a light/bright green, it's most likely CadPat (Canadian didgital pattern) or a knock-off. SpecOps uses a mix of CadPat, Jungle Stalker, and proprietary color digital patterns (look for the SpecOps logo in the pattern). None are a perfect match for MarPat, but some are close enough that few will notice.
Official USMC issue fabric will have the USMC logo every few feet in the pattern. Here's what it looks like:
Anyhow, here's a list of my sources. Almost all of them use the non-USMC import pattern. Feel free to add reviews or more sources. Also, anything related to custom BDUs, vests, pouches, etc can be done by Chad or myself.
RAP4 Has tons of stuff in MarPat, which they refer to as "Digital Camo." Pretty much all of their pouches are available in it too.
ThreatCon Outfitters / Camo Market[/b]: TruSpec and house-brand BDUs, lots of import marpat items. I do not recommend the digital tape if they still carry it.
Sparkling Earth: Lots of great sandanna-variations.
Lauer Custom Weapondry: Duracoat paint kits for your marker.
Wookie's Camo Stencil Generator: Generate your own digital pattern!
Hoffmann Authentic: Hot weather Flip-Side jerseys, in marpat-ish. These guys are AWESOME to deal with. I have one of their headsocks and couple of their towels in the digital pattern. There stuff has more of the green and light tan than coyote.
PCS Paintball Hot weather jerseys and SpecOps-style pants in marpat-ish pattern. Nice stuff, but a little dark and green.
OpsGear TruSpec BDUs and digital camo skins for goggles and markers.
COPS911: A-5 covers, and every now and then they get enough MARPAT type cordura to make some vests. The stuff I got from them was real USMC fabric.
Rage Force Paintball: Ebay vendor of camo paintball marker covers. Email them to get combined shipping.
Military Griffin Ebay Vendor of all kinds of import Marpat stuff.
Amherst Drop Zone: Another Ebay vendor with lots of import stuff. Bought one of their waist pouches, and it lost about 70% of its color after it's first trip through the laundry (with my TruSpec BDUs, which showed no appreciable loss). The 3-layer facemask/bandanna held its color fine though, and is nice- I think it's actually made by Sparkling Earth.
US Cavalry: Another source for TruSpec BDUs and related gear. Their in-stock status feature is nice, especially with the supply issues everyone has with TruSpec marpat.
Altima Battlewear: Underarmor-style shirts in MarPat![/url]
An eBay MarPat gear search that tries to exclude BDUs and hats
Proper is now making MarPat BDUs. They are poly/cotton instead of nylon/cotton, but they are supposed to be much more fade-resistant than the TruSpec junk, and they are available in ACU-style, with velcro shoulder panels and a preacher collar. Best price seems to be at BDU.com
And last but not least, our gracious sponsor, maker of the kick-ass MarPat speedballer pants most of us now own:

Added RAP4 to the list. Got in a bunch of marpat pouches, along with some elbow and knee pads from them last week. Nice stuff!

Yah, the BDUs they sell are the same cotton/poly TruSpec everyone else sells. For Marpat BDUs you want cotton/nylon (aka Nyco) The other gear RAP4 sells (pads, pouches, etc) is made from Cordura, which should not fade. _________________ "videor levis, forsitan usus pauci telum" |

Well, they ARE digital, but they aren't all that hot in the Midwestern temperate woods. They wouldn't be a match for the official team pattern of MARPAT, but we have a lot of guys wearing what they had before, so... _________________ "videor levis, forsitan usus pauci telum" |

I think "prefer" is the word. We want to look like a team when we hit the big events - but I'm working on some 6-color Desert Storm gear for my winter kit, and some of the guys are stuck with whatever pattern their wife or kids bought them, and a lot of us mix in SpecOps digi, FLurry digi, and other stuff we pick up cheap.
Since you're picking up a new set anyhow, I would go for MARPAT - but ACUPAT won't keep you off the team. _________________ "videor levis, forsitan usus pauci telum" |

Just found this on the Lightfighter RYO section (let me know if you can't see the pics):

I thought maybe this could be helpful to someone (like the gear companies that have 8 different shades of "Coyote"). |

yea I just checked it out and here is what it had listed in the description for it:
fade, shrink, and wrinkle resistant
I think I am going to order one of the tops and hope it matches the pants from Smokin'. _________________ If you find a tree big enough to get behind, push your teammate out from behind it.
