Hey guys, I was pointed to this site from a friend in the Ohio area.
I am currently in NW Illinois but moving to Ohio (Columbus area) on the 1st of August. Once my wife and I decided to make the move; the first thing I did was start researching paintball there! haha

Just recently got into paintball (woodsball & scenerio) and I'm completely hooked. Right now, I'm playing with a customized Tippman 98 Custom w/ remote line hookup. I have BDU's and combat boots as well as a 4+1 pack for pods and CO2 tank.

I would possibly like to join a team such as yours or atleast get the chance to play with you guys to gain more experiance.

HOOAH!

Welcome to the site! Keep an eye out for some sort of August event, and check out the thread on the Tippmann World Challenege- looks like we'll have a huge group for that. Pre-reg for it ends on 8/1.

Welcome to the site, Madbomber, and everyone else that is new to the forum. We hope that you find what you are looking for and we hope to help you in any way possible. If you haven't already found your way to the actual website, there is a page that let's you know how to join our team. Basically, if you show up to our practices and come to the big games, you will be able to join us, pending a team vote. Also, please take my comments here with a grain of salt as things have been changing around here for the better and, as I am relatively new and the team captain is out of town, I am trying to fill in for him with the above statement. Those are the basics and I am sure he will introduce himself once he gets back from vacation.

Anyways, welcome to the site everyone and make yourself at home!

WWHHHOOOAAAHHH!!! Thought you could get rid of me right !! Just kidding fellas !!

Madbomber,

Well we are going threw some changes for the good or at least I believe we are with the new members or MAYBE the new members we are looking to add to the team. Just kidding guys....Right now our requirements are looking to change also but not very hard to get on the team.

Right now we have the requirements to attend a practice once a month and a big game with us before we can add a member to our team. Of course we would have to have a team vote. But we are also going to be adding that our members pay a fee of 15.00 to the team to cover the site adminsistartion and some odds and in's stuff we have going on.

Please feel free to keep in touch with our team and the site to keep updated and let us know when you get here also. As I said we are looking to become a bigger and better team overall....

Where do you guys practice? I will be living in Lancaster.
So, if it's in the Columbus area, practicing wont be a problem.
I'm already planning on attending the Tippmann Challenge as soon as I can find out if you guys are doing the one day or two day. Just tryin' to figure out how to break it to the Mrs that she's gonna have to deal without me for a couple days. haha Shoot, maybe that's not a good thing. Maybe she'll realize she doesn't need me! lmao

Dont worry, I wont step onto the field asking for the team badge. haha
I know it's going to take a lot of patience and hard work.
But, I'm up for the challenge!

HOOAH!

If I am not mistaken, I believe we are doing the 2 day. That would make sense to me, anyways. Just to re-iterate what Jerry (admin) said, that $15 charge helps pay for your team patches and the website not to mention other stuff you get such as sponsors, etc... You WILL get more than $15 worth of extras - this is just to show good faith in your acceptance of your membership!

Not sure if I was s'pose to be able to; but I read the thread about the membership "dues". . .
And, honestly, I agree w/ them. I also run a team for Americas Army and we charge "donations" from them to help pay for our server, website, and so on.
I understand "administrative" costs.

Here's an idea . . .
Who ever is in charge of the $$$, dont PRE buy any patches or anything if you dont have to. Just use the $15 to order the stuff then. That way you dont have to come out of pocket.
And the change left over? Save it . . . Do an Annual Team Cook-out w/ the extra money or something. Still goes to team use! HOOAH!

Just my 2 cents... hehe

Again, don't know if I was suppose to be able to see that area or not (couldn't reply though), so I'm sorry if I stepped on any toes in the process.

You are more than welcome to browse as we made it that way. As far as the donations go, we are still planning what to do.
