Hello everyone! I was on mcarterbrown.com today when I saw a thread for a new paintball player who lives in Ohio, when a member named Zoo posted that he has a central Ohio base paintball team, this was like music to my ears, I have wanted to be apart of a team since I was 16 and used to play with my father. I was avid into paintball for two years when my father lost interest in playing, so did I as I had no friends to play with and no means of transportation. So he sold our gear and here I am now at 18 ready to play again. I have gone to SplatterPark in Mt. Gilead and used rentals for a couple matches and I'll tell you my love for the sport is still burning and a team like Delta Squad would be perfect! People to play with, advice from professionals, a great environment to play in. I would say that I am still a novice at paintball but I am learning and studying more every day, but I am a very tactical and team based individual, I enjoy war scenarios and played them many times with airsoft guns with some of my buddies. So before I bore you all with my life story I will fill out the introduction sheet;
Name (plus any nicknames you go by): Tyler, friends called me snake since I would always crawl and sneak up on them, and my love for MGS.
Primary Setup (should include any markers, gear, etc...): Buying a Tippmann A5.
Age: 18
Amount of time Paintballing: Two years off and on. (10+ short matches..)
Location (City and State): Marion, Ohio. 35 minutes away from Columbus.
Goals/Interests with Paintball (include what you look forward to learn or do): Learning to play better, gaining skill not only in paintball but in tactical team work and competition, making friends, and having fun!
Thanks for reading! |

Welcome to the forum! Be sure to check the Events section for upcoming games, and check out the Classifieds section, where there are a couple of A-5s for sale. _________________ "videor levis, forsitan usus pauci telum" |

Thanks! I'm really surprised how fast I got a reply. Is there anything else that I need to do to be considered for recruitment? |

Show up for some games, and don't be a jerk- that's pretty much it. Dressing the part by wearing MarPat gear doesn't hurt, but we're mainly just looking for friendly people who will play as a team and with good sportsmanship. We're working on a more formal list of Thou Shalt Not...s, but that'a the main theme. _________________ "videor levis, forsitan usus pauci telum" |

| Sounds great to me, but how do I know who to talk to when I show up to a event? Do I call someone? I'm just a little on edge about driving somewhere without knowing all the information possible. |

Post in the thread for whatever event to let us know you're coming, if you're looking for a ride, etc. If you meet us there, we usually have some banners up, and most of us have Delta Squad patches on our vests. Introduce yourself and run with us on the field- we're always happy to have more. _________________ "videor levis, forsitan usus pauci telum" |

Well, that means you can hang out with us at the field. Membership requires a vote, usually after you've played with us a few times and attended at least one major event. _________________ "videor levis, forsitan usus pauci telum" |

And thanks to you Zoo! If it wasn't for your post I wouldn't be here.
