Well went paintball yesterday in friends backyard...decided to get comfortable near some poison ivy, last time i played i got poision ivy on my arms so yesterday i wore underarmor and long sleeve shirt to be extra carful not to get it on my arms....but of course wearing long socks and one pear of pants wasnt enough to keep it off my legs and near my waist.....believe me i dont know how it got here but it did looks like bug bites too though so i donno.

Anyways i have been too the doctors twice already for posion ivy and taken shots to get rid of them because it can get so bad...one time i fainted after a shot when it got infected...fun stuff!

Anyways i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me about posion ivy...fasests way to get it off, best way to keep it off, best things to eat drink so on. right now im loading up on the water hopfuly that will help some.

I know your sopose to wash good after you might think you had posion ivy...but yesterday wasnt the best time to wash when i was rushing in the shower for work. Normaly i just jump in my pool but we moved so thats gone too which normaly killed everything i had on me....so anything will help thanks.

Feel free to share some of your posion ivy stories to make me feel better lol.

Here is a thought...dont play near poison ivy. Search the web for pictures so you know what it looks like and stay away from it. Personally, I am immune to the stuff as I have played in it and never caught anything.

yeah, like evol said, just stay away from it, but heres an idea. if ur worried about ur pants ridin up and exposing ur legs, try using athletic tape to keep them tight to ur leg, or camo tape if u thing the athletic tape witll expose u too much. lol. but other then that i cant help u, im immune to it, so i could bathe in the stuff and not get it. but good luck bro.

**raises hand** Immune here too... hehe

Ummm . . . One thing to remember. The stuff that gets on you from poison ivy is actually an oil. So, just because you wore a suit of armor; it's ALL over your clothes (and can remain there for up to 1 year unwashed).

You if you have it on your body, you need to try to dry up the oil. Just washing wont always (usually wont) take care of it.
There is a product out there called "Ivy Dry". Once it starts to "blister", you'll want to use it to dry it up. Because, inside those blisters are the oils themselves.

Hope this helps at all!

Yeah bro, you could wear a rubber suit and get poison ivy..
If you get it on your hands, the oil will pass to anything you touch... Literally...
So, like Sunshine said, wear gloves along w/ everything else...
Make sure you take your gloves off before takin' a leak . . . OUCH! lmfao
