Hello everyone! I am looking for some new gear, I was in the market for it anyways and I figure I will get marpat gear since it is the official pattern of Delta Squad. What I need are pants and a top, and I am trying to avoid the typical BDU and get more paintball oriented gear. The best pants I have seen so far are these http://shop.specialopspaintball.c...al-ops-fusion-7-pant-omnipat.html I was committed to buying them before I discovered Delta Squad now I am looking for another pair. I have tried going through the sticky and while it had some useful websites it seem like more than 75% of them are now dead links. Can anyone recommend to me some good camo for me to buy? I was also wondering do things like my waist strap need to be marpat? Thanks!

Almost everyone on the team wears Smokin paintball pants.

http://www.smokinproducts.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=11

Tops are about half and half. Some wear Ironclad (similar to UnderArmor) and others wear BDU tops.

Only downside to RAP4 BDUs are they tend to fade easily.

Majority of the team wears some sort of RAP4 tac vest.

That's great, thanks for the list! Those pants seem perfect, a little pricey, but they look good.  Smile And yeah that's why I wanted to avoid BDUs, my last set faded so fast I wish I never bought them!

Hold up on any clothing when you become a member of DS we get a great deal from Smokin Products. No reason to spend money on these items yet just wear what you have now.
I would look at this way from top to bottom.
Marker, tank, hopper, pod holder, pods, radio, clothing. Olddog

I see, thank you for the heads up. The problem is my old gear doesn't fit me anymore.  Sad

I think that's what I might do, but is the discount significant enough to warrant waiting? I mean if I buy 15 dollar pants from a thrift store and only get a 15 dollar discount why not just buy the pants now.

I'm not sure what our deal is on the pants, but right now for tops most of the team for the summer for sure goes with Ironclad underarmor digi camo.

OR if you can find it still on the internet, Altama Battlewear (shortsleeve only) but even better than the ironclad strength wise.

That's if your a underarmor type guy though. We dont get any deals with those so it doesnt matter if you buy now or later.

Also don't be afriad to search Ebay for OFFICAL Marine MARPAT Digi Camo pants. even if its used as long as its in good enough condition the stuff will never fade and last as long as it doesnt rip. I have a pair now and its srong stuff.

Plus when you go to 2 day events playing for 2 days, you like to switch into clean cloths....so it's always good to have a extra pair even if you go smokin or to a jersey later on down the road.
