Ok since this is on a Sunday I'm 100% out but (remember I'm on a Speedball team too) unlike most Scenarios you want to get a team together BEFORE you get to the field and you need no wishy-washy commitments becase one player droping out at the last minute can compleatly destroy the teams chances of success becaue you are not 1 of 100s you are 1 of 5! So I encourage the people who want to go to this start posting now get this team together and don't wait, if there are 6 players that want to go or only 3 ect you really need to know this SOON, this is only 6 weeks away!!

ok just the 20 bucks or do you want paint money too? I just sent a text to chad, aka Donkey Kong, he said he is gonna look into and and we will find out if he is in so hold off trying to find any friends off the team to fill the 2nd team right now. We should know within the week how many people we need. If any of the guys i listed can get the money in by next week we can just say they are alternates since they are on the fence with the cash. I think that sounds fair? P.S. OD call me pick up ur phone! I'm heading up to snowboard now though so call me within the next hour i should have a signal. |

Ok here's the tentative event rules, it is field paint only (you will see why)
this is not speedball in the woods. OD 5 man Tentative Rules league General 5 man teams 25minute games Roles Commander (required) GI Sniper (Max 1 per team) Heavy gunner (Max 1 per team) Demolition (Max 1 per team) Specs of Roles Commander Gets lipstick for suicide if needed 140 rounds (Gold paint) Single grenade Only one marker Will be Marked GI 3 pods 2 markers Similar to heavy gunner Sniper 30 rounds per round One marker (Gold Paint) Heavy Gunner 5 Pods 2 Markers Semi only Mechanically assisted allowed Demolition 5 satchels or Rockets per round or a mix of the two but only 5 No Gun Only person to remove buildings from play Must call in hits Rules and Regulations Wiping Full points of all of opposing team objectives Whole team forfeit round Mark on card 2nd offense same as above and team plays down for two games. Unsportsmanlike like conduct Profanity 10 point per word. After 3 times then done for the day. Refs Discussion Over Ammo 50points per player Wrong Card Auto death and 50points to other team Points 125 for sniper shot 125 commander 200 Commander dies 100 Sniper dies 100 Building lost other team gets -50 Commander kills himself, team losses 500 Primary common objective 300 Secondary objective 200 minor objective Supply Case Allowed to put Tanks, Paint, Markers, Grenades Open with out key -200points |

No it's not, this is there solution to the problem they had last year when everybody carried all the paint they wanted and it turned into speedball so I think it's has the potential to be a lot of fun and will make us use our heads to plan out what we need to do to complete the mission. | ||

Sniper might as well just use a pump with a BE Pocket Hopper since it hold 35 rounds.

I'm really not sure whats going on with the other guys, one has dropped out after finding out the rules were not like speedball lol....they are also saving money for snowboarding too so i'll see whats up. I think danny and Herman are still interested but i havnt seen them when they had cash on em. So even if they do want to come will we have enough for two teams? |

We will bring all that want to play and divide entry up between all and rotate players and hopefully we have enough for two teams There will be plenty of down time between games to rotate and talk strategy. They are talking about having another field open for teams to play on in between games. I will have a large heater and a tarp to wrap around the pop up so we should be able to keep warm. OD | ||

I think i'm gonna have to skip this trip guys.
As much as i was looking forward to it and wanted to play in a tournament like this I gotta save the cash. Month ago and a few weeks ago it was looking good. I have enough money for it now, but in March my work will be shutting down for a little bit less than a month. So around that time i'll be without a paycheck and tight on money since i'm planning a snowboarding trip and vacation to florida in the next two months. Plus still a little wintery out there for my taste, but def worth it for this type of tourney. Also gonna prereg for the Sherwood game. So as i added it all up i just figured it would be best wait until next month. Sorry guys, good luck! I also think the people i was gonna bring are gonna skip to they are trying to save for the snowboardin trip as well as the sherwood game. |
