It looks like we are go for a spring game.

This means I start the planning process now. I have already identified a possible guest author.

First steps..... Picking a date. Finding the right date is important to ensure everyone gets an opportunity to play.

Post dates on this thread that 'knock out' individual Saturdays. For example, holidays, school breaks (aka prime vacation times), large organized sporting events, etc.

Stay tuned to this group for additional info regarding the story line.

That's 2 weeks after Judge Dredd. I know a few of us have the time and money for both, but every time two events get scheduled close together like this, we end up with chaos.

Just remember that Judge Dredd is our max-effort event for May. No whiny bullshit about, "I'm not sure I have enough time/money for Dredd, maybe I'll do this one..." like we had for OK D-Day v. NJ Nam, where we ended up with nobody going to either.

You've all known about Dredd for months now, so Bulldog will be angry if he here's whining about money and vacation time. He may get so annoyed he starts speaking of himself in the 3rd person, and you do not want to be around him then.

LOL !! at BD.....her is RIGHT on this subject. Judge Dreed is the maxeffort event. I have in the past suggested that we choose the events that we plan for and mark the ones that are maxeffort by the team.

PBC being 2 weeks after is out for me as I am saving the money to get stuff together for Sherwood event. If I have the $ for PBC after tha then I would go. But for now WE are committed to SF.

For anyone who has been to sherwood, its a gimme that they will work there ass off to go to sherwood over this event, even if they have to skip this event lol. Thats no issue unless you havnt been to sherwood, then you just dont know what your missing lol.

So far my weekend is free for this one but i do believe my Senior Finals are this week or the following week which may limit me from paintball to study....we will just have to wait and see.

Is this the 24th? Thats the weekend right in the middle of my exams.

I know this a lot to shell out before the sherwood game for us. For the newbies or folks wanting to join us this would be a good game to go to with us. It would be small and you could see how we operate as a team also.

I know it might be or will be hard for some of us to come up with the cash for this before Sherwwod. But we should at least get some of us there to help OD if we can.

I have several radios you can use, or buy if you like they are brand new so don't worry about that just bring batts. If you pay before Saturday you get there discount. If you pre reg with Delta you will get a better discount. Olddog
