The production quality seemed pretty good, but...the US players weren't wearing ANY eye protection, which tells me it was all faked. Also, did you see how the bad guys all kind of stood right up in plain view while firing? Also, there was no communication, verbally or otherwise, between the players, suggesting it was choreographed. Also, it showed bad guy wearing a mesh mask (no lens, just wire mesh), which is pretty much a universal no-no in the airsoft community.
I'm not knocking airsoft at all, I'd just saying I think this video isn't what it appears to be. My complaint about any tactical video is that they focus too much on the minutia: the gun, the faces, the bad guys getting hit, etc. How about something showing HOW they were being tactical? Show an overhead of the combat zone and show which fireteams did what, and when. Everything is so close up and that you get no sense of the overall plan. Ha, maybe I should direct some films.

Pretty good video but I have to agree with Jeff. If we do make a team video, I have the editing software. We just need the camera. |
