Gear selectionLooking to get a new pair of MARPAT pants. I don't think any of us have used the RAP4 pants. Some Marpat BDUs are great, others fade fast. The Smokin' pants hold their color well, fit great, and have the heavy duty cordura knees and kneepad pockets. They are both sponsors. | ||

I believe Hollywood has a pair of the Rap4 MArpat, but they dont look any diffrent from the off brands that fade FAST. I would go for the Smokin. Very light, very durable. Except for the hole in my pocket lol.
As for the big black knee pads, well thats basicly what distuingished us from the rest of everyone as a team.....but i think DK or BD might find a way to MARPAT it up a certain way.... |

We should put this up to a vote so we all get the same stuff. Personally I like the regular BDU's but if we decide as a team to get the ugly smokin pants I will get them.

We have decieded in the past, i dont think we are going to make anyone get anything, its all up to personal prefrence. There really are not any requirments at all to what uniform we have. If we start saying you gotta wear this gotta have this specifictly some people will just get pissed off and were too relaxed for that. But we will say if you dont have Marpat your not gonna look like your on the team really. Majority of the guys have Smoking pants already though

Don't feel like you have to. I have them, but I also have that goofy marpat jumpsuit, some faded old BDUs, some nice NyCo USMC-issue BDUs, and some of the new Propprt BDUs. Depending on how many days we play and what the weather is like, you'll see all kinds of gear come out. | ||

I know, I just assume to have the same look as the majority of the team. Not trying to be pushy in any way. I have the paintball bug bad and all these ideas are flooding through.

Alright, I'll get on the Smokin stuff. Better than what I have... A pair of olive dress pants with super thin Florida bug tamer covers... Went through a brier patch and it tore them to shreds.
Has anyone used the Smokin MARPAT shirts? |

I have them both and I love them, shirts are made out of the same fabric as the pants very durable and heavy so I only wear the shirt in cool weather now if your the kind that runs through briers and all that stuff they are what you want, almost indestructible. OD | ||

Bulldog just told me we can contact them directly. We have to order through him for RAP4 stuff.
Smokin is currently out of stock on MARPAT pants, sizes Small-Large. |

The RAP4 pants are not that bad, they just dont have the extra padding like the smoking pants(def worth getting for that reason). The smokin pants are lighter and seem to be more durable than the RAP4 but look almost identical except for the black pads. | ||
