I've been in more talks with Viper & TB, here's the final answer:

1) The Dredd 09 will be a 26hr game, standard Viper format. There will be a standown at 2am unless both commanders want to go longer.

2) You keep what you bring. In other words, we keep our lights, they keep their night vision, etc...

3) No complaining when you loose. It's imperative that we all keep a good attitude... for the sake of our sport. Someone will loose, hopefully TB, and the looser needs to be gracious to the winner. That's sportsmanship.

4) No pressuring teams. If a team wants to play for a side, don't pressure them to do otherwise. I don't want any accusations about people stealing teams or using underhanded recruiting tactics

5) This is the "T"s rule: No bashing TB or any of his teams on the forums. Fun smack talk is fine, but lets make this the best game ever!

Well that's it. I had a long talk with Viper & TB and this is our final result. It's important that you understand TB will be bringing some powerhouse teams and we need to be prepared and ready. I have a lot of plans rolling around in this head of mine but for right now we need to recruit. This is going to be a huge game so lets start preparing!

I've talked with some of the guys I work with and play paintball with ... Told them it was a great game last year and they got to go to the one in 09 I'll keep on them.....

It won't be a 24 hour non stop game, it will be a regular 26 hour game just like the one last year. Never the less, recruiting is our our number priority and getting registered with the Early Birds.

Viper has already said that due to the large suspected numbers and the possibility of one side blowing out the other with numbers only those who register with the EARLY BIRDS will be guaranteed to play with the side of their choice. If the Early Bird numbers indicate a lop sided game, Viper will use the folks who pre register only 2 weeks early to balance the game.

Get your $45 dollars and your registration form in ASAP. Registration is already open!

It's a lot simpler for everyone just to register themselves. There's not price advantage, and the registration lets you indicate what team you are with and which side you want on. Just be sure to get on the right side.

So guess what Prom is May 9ths for my girlfriend this year 1 week after this event!!!

I'm 100% in as long as i don't date a girl who has another prom date lol.

If im lucky i'll break my leg at the end of the weekend paintballing so i dont have to attend Very Happy

I'm not an official Delta Squad member BUT I'll be there plus 7 other guys. We'd really like to play on the side of Delta Squad!! We have some very experience scenario players in our group.
Are you playing on the Judge side? We plan on registering within the month. We will all be riding in an RV so it'd be great if we can caravan or something like that since we're in Columbus also.

i want to leave friday but i need to talk to my cuz's rents to try and get him outa school that day. hopefully he just doesnt have it. I myself do not have classes on fridays and as soon as the new year hits i am requesting it off so i should be fiine with getting the dates off since they tend to like me at work.

It's a 5 hour drive, if you are able to go it might make it easier on you if you drive up to Columbus Thursday night and ride with us up Friday, just a thought. OD

There is a very good possibility, that Viper will be having a Early, Early Bird Registration. Actual Date is unknown, full details are also unknown. Whats important is that the idea is that only the players and teams who register for get in with the Early Early Birds, will have the 100% guarantee that they will play for the side that they want to play on.

Why this is all happening is just because this game has the huge potential to be just that, huge! Viper is thinking he needs an extra registration in there to give him more flexibility in the event that he needs it but still allowing players and teams the opportunity to safely register for which ever side they want to play for and not run the risk of being switched to the other side. Most of us witnessed what happened last year with Blues Crew so we have seen first hand a switch happen.

Tuck your $45 bucks away right now and wait for that information. If you want, send your check and registration forum in right now and get it taken care of. Don't allow the possibility of anything happening to you or your team.

Also, Viper would REALLY appreciate, if we can get as many registered as early as possible. The best situation, would be that 90%-100% of your team registers. If only 2-3 register and 15 show up, its going to be pretty. We don't want to hide our numbers, we want to be PROUD of them!

This is important for you and any teams that you are currently recruiting and working with to understand. This game has more attention being paid to it, more hype, more excitement and more buzz than any game in a long time. Its important to stress to other teams who might be making the trip for the first time, or who might be on the edge that if they don't register early they have absolutely no guarantee to play with you. And that won't be a good situation for anybody.

Relay this message to everyone, please try and stick your Early Bird Registration amount of $45 away until Viper releases the official information. If you miss it, you could be on the other side if the circumstances go that way.

SO get your money ready this month and get reged next month. OD

Commander change for Viper’s “Judge Dredd: The Final Conflict” May 2 & 3 at Sherwood Forest Adventure Games in La Porte, Indiana.

Although Lawrence “TB” Wright was slated to command at this event, he has chosen to step down. He has stated “I do not care to debate or discuss the reasons, they are mine and my teams.” so if you have questions please direct them to Mr Wright.

His opponent, Tim “T” Erickson, has been doing an excellent job of recruiting and currently has three to four hundred players behind him.

It takes a bold commander to step in and take the reigns in this situation. However, we have just the man for the job. Not intimidated by the numbers “T” has recruited; our new commander is ready for the challenge.

In what will potentially be the largest event in the history of Sherwood Forest, our two commanders are set to face off.

Leading the organization “Total War” will be Tim “T” Erickson of Team WOW, reprising his role as Hester Hyman. “T” commanded last year’s Judge Dredd event and won a substantial victory to earn his place in the command seat again this year.

And standing in the way of his total overthrow of the Government in Mega City One will be The Department of Justice, led by Judge Dredd himself. Portraying the role of Judge Joseph Dredd will be Eric Engler of Engler Custom Paintball Guns. Mr. Engler is well known for his victories and exploits at many events such as D-Day and the annual West Point Big Game.

yes, you can either scan and email it or mail it in. They want it withing 2 days of registering though.

The best thing to do is mail it first, it's a pain in the butt to fax viper ( he doesn't have a dedicated fax line). Will be getting mine out next week. OD

Has anybody e-mailed them the waiver instead of mailing it in? I registered on the 3rd I think and emailed them the same day and I haven't gotten a confirmation email that they had received it. So Idk if they send one or not. The payment shows up on my card so I just want to make sure I'm good for this tournament.

I think they add a little for like processing fees and stuff. Look on the website I thought that I remembered seeing something like that.

When I registered I paid $196.50 and got the complete package and one extra case of paint.

I paid with my credit card through pay pal. I believe that you have to use pay-pal but not 100% sure.

If you use Viper's online store to pay for any of the 3 items, Entry, Paint and Air, Viper increased the fee for each of them slightly to cover his Paypal Fees.

Personally, I fine it easy to pay for registration on his site, then print and scan my reg form for $47 dollars as long as I make the early bird. Its only $2 more. But there is no real reason to pay for Paint and Air early as the prices do no increase whether you pay for them now or at the event.

Usually there is some of both. I'm expecting I'll be driving the camper van out there, possibly towing the tank, and Peaches usually makes the Spring game with the Rolling 4-Star. I can't commit to transporting anyone yet though, as I don't know for sure how things will be then.

After looking forward to this massive game all year, I'm going to have to miss it.

I know I'll hear it from OD, but the girlfriend is really wanting me to travel with her to a wedding that is the same weekend. Plus I just paid for Jackets playoff tickets and that dried up the extra funds that were set aside for this game. Why did they have to go and make the playoffs for the first time???
