Mardi Gras FridayI dont know if thats how you spell it or not but this friday at Mad River Mountain its MartiGraw Friday for midnight maddness.
My Ski Club is scedueld to go up Friday after school and leave at 9 but i may just deciede to drive up so i can stay later for Mid Night Maddness.
This will be my....4th time up to Mad River this week lol so im that excited for this event. This night is supposed to be the "Wildest" Type of nights at MadRiver so if you had to pick one night out of the winter to go up skiing or snowboarding....this is it!
Hopfully i will see you guys up there, give me a call if you guys do deciede to go!

They will be packed! Bellefontaine's hotels will be booked and we will be busy.

Keep your equipt locked up or with you. There is several theft rings going on out there. We just busted one open and found 25 snowboards that had been stolen fm out there in the last few weeks.
Be careful and have a blast!

I wonder if thats the same story i heard from my friend at work. He said he knew a kid who had 18 stolen boards on his poessesion stealing them from Mad River.
1 of my friends lost his board to a thief and i know of several others who have lost theirs. Accualy some kid was stopping cars one night after close asking everyone if they had seen anyone take his and his friends board...i asked him if he asked the police about it and they said theres not much they can do...which there really isnt is there?
I'll defintly be watching my board...they are pretty relaxed with having our equipment and boards with us in the lodge inside so as long as i can do that or have a friend watching when i cant be by it i feel pretty safe there, but after the past few weeks....some people are just messed up doing that.

If your buddy has'nt already have him check with Logan County Sheriffs Office (937)599-3333. They have several snowboards that have not been claimed yet. They arrested 3 or 4 guys from the Columbus area for the thefts.

Thanks ill be sure to do so. Sounds like there have been a few thefts of diffrent people stealing boards not just 1 group.

And by the way, i went up friday....it wasn't all that great. I thought the warm weather would invite everyone up but for some reason it didn't even into the late night. The later it got the more it died. Last Sunday and Monday on Presidents day though was packed!
I remember during the fall all i could wait for was cold weather for snowboarding and just couldnt wait to snowboard all the time. Now after i have been up for the 4th or 5th time in a week im like yeah lets Paintball lol.
