Anyone interested in an A-5 BullPup Pre-Order?I know this is going to turn into a tread about how little money we all have, but I thought I'd give it a shot.
Identity Crisis Paintball is in pre-production on their bullpup mod for the A5. It is a balistic nylon body with a waterproof WAS electronic trigger built in. The final price will be $350, including the e-trigger and all the bolts to mount it.
For the initial run they are taking pre-orders at $300, and if you group-buy 5 or more they knock another $10 off. I'm definitely getting one- are there 4 more out there?
I have a spare A5 I picked up for eventual tank use that I could part with if someone needs it.

Here are some tidbits about the B-5 upgrade:
1: Comes standard with a Custom APE rampage electronics kit in it. www.goapeonline.com/index.html <http://www.goapeonline.com/index.html>
2: It is an upgrade to your existing A-5...so virtually anything you have on your current A-5 (including low pressure kits, regulators, different bolts, etc etc) all should fit in the B-5 shell.
3: It is still field strippable! By removing the same three pins as you would on your A-5, the internals will come out exactly like on your standard A-5.
4: the battery compartment was moved to the back, this allows you to remove two pins and change the battery, Finally you can change your battery on the field with an A-5!
5: it uses standard 45 grips. This means that players can finally customize their grips on their A-5. Dye Sticky grips, tippmann 45 grips, any 45 grip will fit.
6: It replaces your grip on your A-5, to install the B-5, you remove your current grip frame and install your a-5 using the gripframes screw holes...this gives it a solid connection to your A-5, making it stable in your hands.
7: The A-5 ASA can be mounted to the back of the B-5 (underneath) for a remote setup, OR, you can install a drop forward to the standard drop connection below the front grip to put a tank onto it! (some people might also install a tank onto the rear ASA, but then the tank will extend down under your armpit when shouldering the B-5).
8: There are 4 rail mounts on the front of the B-5. One on top that accepts standard AR-15 6" rails, one on each side that accepts standard 2-3" rails, and one on the bottom that will accept a standard 2" rail for mounting a foregrip.
9: The standard A-5 foregrip will still work on the B-5! The front lower rail mount doubles as a standard mount for the A-5 foregrip...you don't have to throw it away!
10: There is a hole for a side sling mount on the rear of the B-5 allowing you to use standard side sling mounts on it.
11: The shroud will accept a Flatline barrell!
12: The shroud covers 10" of barrell...so anything 10" or shorter will end up flush with the front of the B-5, the only barrells that will extend past the front will be barrells longer than 10"
13: the overall length of the B-5 is 20" with most of that being stock, the only part that extends past your hand in the front is the final 6", this makes the B-5 actually shorter for CQB than a pistol!
14: The balance on the B-5 is excellent, while it adds an additional 1.35 lbs to the total wieght of your A-5 (which is less than an opsgear RIS foregrip), it balances the weight on your arm, making it seem lighter! We have actually had people tell us that it was lighter than a standard A-5 (at least until I pointed out that there was an A-5 inside it!).
15: By changing the balance on the B-5, you can RELOAD the hopper while keeping your marker trained on your victim! You no longer have to tip your marker point down to reload...
16: PATENTED bullpup design with most of the weight at the back of the B-5, it makes shouldering the weapon extremely fast, I general walk with the B-5 at waist level, I can snap it to my shoulder and start firing faster than most people with a long gun already pointed forward!
17: With the length of the weapon back on your shoulder and only a small bit of it in front of your hand, target aquisition is increased dramatically, You can swing back and forth between targets immensely fast, having to only move your front hand a small amount.
18: Newly added in the last prototype were "finger holes" allowing people to hold a barrel within the shroud without removing the shroud for people that use two piece barrel systems.
19: The B-5 is being constructed of a durable ballistics glass filled nylon....it should be nearly unbreakable. It will also take paints designed for real guns.
20: It uses your standard A-5 trigger and Guard, so if you like single trigger, you can use single, double you can use double. We have even found a way to use the APE Magnetic trigger for the A-5 on the B-5! (an accessory is required).

I pre-ordered mine Monday. Chances are they'll work out a bulk deal with some big vender like SpecOps or OpsGear and be able to mass-produce and sell them for half what I'm paying, but I HAVE to have it.

They may be able to mass produce it. But they will still charge about the same amount if those companies get it.
I am going to be putting the recon e 5 on ebay and will see what that has to do and see what kind of money I get for the digi paint job.
