The first stage of Operation Paintball Island begins in the United States on a 200+ acre rural woodland site. Phase One is currently scheduled to begin on August 10, 2007. Teams of 10 to 12 players will battle each other for 2 days (approximately 48 hours of actual tournament time). The winning teams will receive a $50,000.00 cash prize. Teams that win phase one will also receive FREE team entry into phase two of the tournament, which will take place on a private tropical island - undisturbed natural wildlife environment with raw forests, rivers and beaches surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean.

Participation in the tournament is open to anyone, from any country or continent, who is at least 18 years of age. Players may enter the tournament individually, in groups of two or more players, or as a complete team of 10 to 12 players. Players who enter the tournament together will be placed on the same "squad".

Operation Paintball Island will be the most rewarding, most unique and most intense paintball tournament ever played. Contestants will have the opportunity to endure nature, their competitors and their own will on a tropical island. The human spirit will be tested in this ultimate game of survival and strategic paintball warfare. Players are encouraged to sign up with their friends, other paintball enthusiasts and even non-enthusiasts who have wanted to play paintball, but have not gotten the chance to play.

This event is administered and sponsored by Paintball Island Adventures. Operation Paintball Island will be a tournament like no other, an unforgettable experience for those that are up to the challenge. Not to mention, it's worth a million dollars to the team that is left standing when the final mission has been completed.

Yeah, that would be bad ass! But, there is no way I could come up w/ the $1300 registration...

Yeah I posted it in the team talk section of ours for the guys to look at. One problem is the 1300.00 reg. fee and I believe that is per player not team.

I can see some of the speedball teams getting into this also as they have the backing of some of the major paintball companies.

My wife would probably about S#$t a brick if I told her how much the reg. fee is to play in this one.

Hey I filled out the guest card to register for the free T68 sub machin gun. I recieved a email back and the are sending me a free registration 48 hrs prior to the game. So they must be planning on not having very sign up for the $1300.00 registration fee.

"Hello Everyone,

This is the Operation Paintball Island Command Center. The Command Center is communications entity for the tournament. We have reviewed your posts thus far and would like to answer some of your initial questions.

(1) Though the initial registration fee is $1299, when the website opens this Friday, March 23, the registration fee will be discounted to $899. This price will last until April 30. Then it will go up to $1299.

(2) Included in the registration package is the T68 SMG, worth $350. The registration also includes paintballs, food, water and some equipment that will be used in the tournament.

Remember that the tournament is two phases. Phase One is in Mississippi, USA - lots of winners, $50,000 prize per winning per team. Phase Two is on the island, $1,000,000 to the only winning team.

(3) Teams that win in Mississippi will be transported to the Island for free (most likely via cruise ship), no travel costs.

Be sure to visit the site now (temporary version) and fill out a guest card. If you do, you will have an opportunity to register for free and win a drawing for a T68 SMG - FREE MARKER, FREE REGISTRATION, the best of both worlds.
