Paintball Ohio In Dublin ClosingThe Paintball Ohio also known as CO Paintball off of Silver Drive in Columbus, will be closing its store off of Sawmill Road.
Havn't heard the details but from what i have heard it will be closing becuase it had about a 30% decrease in profit over x # of years recently.
They layed off one of the shop wokers there a gun tech which knew me personaly by name along with a few other of my friends who became friends and paintballed with for a while, great guy and has been with Paintball Ohio for a long time.....it's sad.
As far as i know though the downtown location will still be staying open.
This sucks for me though since i normaly like to go into this location before work which is only a few minutes away from where i work to get Air with my airpass which is good for a year for 20$....now it wont be worth going into the store downtown for just air.
The only other paintball shops i know of on the west side is one in Grove City off of Southwest Blvd a few minutes from my high school, which probably has as much gear as Bulldog for sale, but a nice owner lol.

20 bucks!!! thats double what the one downtown charges. they only charge 10 bucks/year/tank. That does suck though. Sorry to hear about it.

was at Paintball Ohio in Dublin they area NOT closing. Asked the guy there when he filled my co2 tanks... they did let go an employee there awhile back he said but would not tell me why. But he assurred me that they are not closing their doors.

Really? Thats news...do you happin to know who you talked too who said this? Was it the owner or was his name josh?

I believe you, im not doubting anyone im just wondering what happined, a worker at PB ohio who i belived was the one who was let go, said it was closing.
i'll have to hear from him again and see, maybe a change of plans or just somthing was mistaken. Im glad its still open though lol.

That might be the story they told him to get him out the door with as little drama as possible.
I'm staying 1000% nutural in this one since the employee in question is a friend of mine, I actually just bought a hopper from him just yesterday down at The Land where he was playing paintball with his new team and I'm still friends with management of the company.

Your talking about Josh? yeah he was a pretty cool guy i think everyone liked him.
From what im hearing, He was layed off becuase they couldnt make profit, and im still hearing that unless things changed they are closing in a couple of months in the near future becuase of the decrease in profit. But things might of been changed around or wrong im not sure.

Maybe Josh just wanted too much money and they could replace him with 2 part timers at 1/2 the pay and even less in taxes since they are both making less their tax rate will be lower. I've been on THAT very train a couple of times when working for small companies.

This sucks now i have no were to get free airiflls unless i want to drive all the way downtown.....at least i didnt buy a pass yet so oh well.
