pistols ???hey guys I'm looking at picking up a pistol as a backup and to try out in some games coming up any recomendations. anybody shot the rap4 t68 gen 3 pistol or the new blackbird from rap4. The tac 8 looks nice but whewwww pricey $$$$$ for a backup. I might be able to get an overlord or acp 2.0 for a decent price just want some advice I don't want to be repairing the gun more than shooting it since it will still only be a secondary piece ... anyway thanks

Well there are so many out there that you have your choice in what you want really. I know with us the rap4 no one has gotten yet as far as the t68 goes. Bulldog has his tac8 and loves the thing and uses it in the night games when we have one we go out on.
My experience was with the delta pistol by I think Psycho Ballistics or someone named like that. It worked great for me, but I stopped using a pistol as it became a bother to carry on the leg. The holster would just ride down the leg.
If you do get one, then get a vest holster to use and carry on a vest like what rap4 or others make to attach to the vest. It will make carrying it a heck of a lot easier.

I had a T68 Pistol, and really I would spend the extra money and get the BlackBird (it is the same marker as the tac8). My T68 just didnt stand out in the way I wanted it to.
Also Bingo is right vest holster are great!

Thanks for the tips. they all say they're the lightest ,fastest and quickest to reload but what they fail to say from what if read is that they all leak some worse than others : bummer i'll keep looking or maybe i'll just mod out my A-5 I really like rap4 's enforcer .

IMO sure get a pistol if your going to use it, but when you mean secondary im guessing you mean you will have the pistol on you while you have your a-5 along with you.
IMO again thats just a waste of money, thinking about all the money you will spend extra on co2 cartrages or tanks, and hoppers or magazines. Plus extra weight and more gear you have to carry just to have Just incase your main primary marker doesnt work.
Some people say its easier to get it out instead of reloading a hopper....well i don't know who is that slow at reloading hoppers with pods but thats a bunch of BS.
If you can't keep your main marker up and running during games...you should just go to your secondary marker which you can spend less money on, like a Ion, Autococker, another tippmann or somthing like that.
Just my 2 cents.

Im gonna agree with Dirdy here. Honestly unless you plan on playing with just a pistol every now and then you dont really need one. However, if you want one then get it. I have contimplated getting the t68 but since i found my cocker for under 50 i got it instead.

3rded. I only carry my Tac8 when I want to prove that I can take all of you jokers with just it, or if I'm carrying a rocket launcher and just need a sidearm for pedestrians. Otherwise it just adds dead weight.

The t68 looks nice and can be altered to fit your playing needs from pistol all the way up to rifle and its really not that bad on the price well i'll wait on that to see what the prices are for modifications for the t68 if you wanted to mod it .
