Alrighty I know Donkey Kong has a few friends who would like to come out and play some paintball.

I have another 4-5 who would like to come including Herman and Andrew who have already made it too 2 other games looking to join. And Andrew also has a friend i have met before a few times looking to join (Hes in college like Andrew over 18, his name is Josh i believe)

Any how, i know Herman works at The Land so maybe we can cut us a deal or somthing who knows...

FranBar also has a little more woods to work with along with Urban and a brand new X Ball field, so they are very popular with a good group out every weekend.

I'll post a poll for the field, lets just talk about which date we want it on.
DDay is June 3-10 so thats out.

27th is good for me, other weekends are occupied with the soccer tournaments coming up and wedding ann. is the 20th for me.

Right now I am good for any of those dates. Remember though that the weekend of the 26th/27th is Memorial Day weekend, so some people might already have plans (not me yet.... but will soon!) so we might be better off doing the 19th/20th.

I would be in for FranBar since I have never been there, but if someone contacts the rangers (Josh... know your busy right now but....) then I would be up for another field. Also, once we nail down a date and location, I will contact Dave, John and Danny that were at Sherwood, and a few others, about 6-8 people not on the team that just want to come out and play. So, even if we don't have the rangers, we will have a good sized group to play against anyway.

The Field up at BattleZone is a great field, worth the 45 minute drive over a 15-30 minute drive anyday over FranBar and TheLand.

Good Staff, decent prices, and the two diffrent woodsball fields they have are nice and big for a rec ball field.

Ima start calling people Monday if we havnt got this figured out so we can get a date down. Hopfully we can drag Judson out of Work!

If we dont get a reply from Chairborne Rangers id rather just set a game up at FranBar or TheLand. Not that the field is bad but since im not familiar with it on regular days when the team isnt their i rather just stick around the columbus area. IMO.

looks like the 19 and 20th are out now since its in a few days and not many people are planning on it...

I havnt heard back from Chairborne rangers yet but if i do ill let you know. If not i say we just go to TheLandPaintball. Andrew says there will be a team there from Paintball Ohio practicing on the 27th. (Josh from CO Paintball in Dublin will be one of them)

Or if you guys wanna go to FranBar thats cool to i just dont know how great the numbers will be. I'll post up on TheLandPaintball's forums to see if we can get some numbers there.

I am for the Battlezone as I have not been there before and it looks neat to play in. The Land is too small to me and that is just me..maybe cause of my size...LOL !!

We could always try to hook up with Dead Reckoning and see if they want to play? I thought they were our of Cinci, so BattleFront up north might be a hike for them, but if there is something south we could meet them half way.... Anyone know who was setting up the practice the first time (when we ended up going to Predatorzone)?????

Hi all this is DanDan from OMHW. I also hang out with the CB Rangers once in a while. I remember a few years ago that there was a good field called Dragon ____? that was just east of Cincy. Coming from Indiana we had to go in to Kentucky and then come back in to Ohio to get to the field. The field was a little small, but had a lot of different terrain and would be a great practice field. The day we played there were around 60 players and we never felt cramped. That would be a good venue for you all. It would be less then an hour trip for your Columbus folks to get to also. Another really good field is Condors p.b. in Elizabethtown, KY. It's about 30 - 45 mins. south of Louisville, KY off of I65. I haven't been there in a couple of years. But I played most of my paintball there starting in 92 - 02 before I got on the OMHW team. Oh I started playing p.b. in the service in 1987, damn that was 20 years ago ugg. Oh well talk to you all later.

im out, i had a lil accident with some electric hedge trimmers saturday and my finger is a wee bit mutilated so i wouldnt even be able to hold or shoot my gun.

Right now I am not able to do anything on the 27th till after 1 pm or so. I have three games to referee starting at 8 am and ending at 1130am and then the daughter has here games. All of them of course are in Dublin....

Plus my marker may be down depending on when I can get the time to fix it....

Also, looks like it might be local, so if we get a day figured out ASAP I might have about 5 or 6 targets, er, I mean Friends, to bring.

Well guys, its defintly The Land Paintball it looks like the only question is when.

I just got off the phone with the field owner Naaman and Monday is open for reservations of 20 or more. So far 5 or so people have contacted him with emails about if its open play or reservations for Monday. He said by tommarow night there will be a announcment wether or not it will be open play or reservations only.

We have about 5-6 planning on going for monday also. Not sure what the numbers look like if its monday or not.

I would say we shoot for the 27th and if its open monday the 28th lets do it 28th but if not the 27th as a safe date?

I say we get there around 10:00 so by 11:00 were ready to go. Since it normaly takes everyone 30 minutes to gear up, crono, get registered / payed and stuff. and talk about how much ass were gonna kick.

Last time everyone complained becuase it took to much time between games, lets get all our gear pods filled before hand so then we can play one after another and get a good day of paintball in and wont have to wait too long in between games.

if the games go quick like last time but we still shoot alot its always nice to have alot of paint. and air.

I probably will not be there then.....the daughter has soccer tourney this weekend (Sat. and Sun.)and I am refereeing in the morning from 8-11 and her game is after that then.

If I do come out it will not be till after 12pm or 1pm depends on her game and if she makes it to the finals.

Was there anybody who could NOT play Monday? It looks like a couple guys can only play then, so maybe we should do that if they will be open, but keep Sunday as the fall-back.

I could possible do it Sunday, as I said before it will just depend on the daughters team and how far they go. I would be there late, hence how late would all be there on Sunday.

It sounds like to me unless we can get what was it, 20 or more we could not get them to open.

Of course there is Fran Bar and not have to worrie about a party then or numbers. Just an idea.....

FYI - I just got an e-mail back from The Land saying that he will know on Friday if he has people to work on Monday. I guess he has had a few e-mails about being open Monday (hummm, how many e-mail accounts doooo I have??) so now he just has to line up people to work.

My bet is that he will be open Monday for sure, but who knows until Friday.

Fields are open every Saturday and Sunday (or by reservation).

Just got off work. Damn that pool feels good now after a day of paintball and in the same day work.

Yes not only did i run for the flag and on the field but i ran food too at work. Now im dead lol.

One quick note, we need to pick a side next time on capture the flag lol. I was trying to get the team together but one person told me this and one person told me that it was just cauious. As a team we need to make movements as a team and not spread the field like we did. Especially in that small of a field we should of been able to move together. Hopfully next time we can get it down, lets just learn from it and go from there!

P.S. sorry for a hurry when i left would of loved to stay and get my vest in my car along with my pods along with saying good bye and i love everyone but i did catch up with that Eclipse Going North on 270 lol.

Fun day, glad everyone got a good meal out of the paintball day!

Oh MAN that was a fun day! Thanks to everyone for coming out, and thanks to everyone who brought extra targets, err, friends, to come play! I think they are really glad they opened today and I think all we have to do it as and they will do it again.

So, lets do once a month there if we can get it going, I really liked it and with the cost and distance, I have NO problem doing that once a month between events to burn all the excess paint from those FPO events were always attending.

Can't wait for the next game! So, should be starting a BattleFront post soon...

I have to get with Josh on the B-5 and get the kinks worked out of the wiring...talk about stress...think I almost got served with divorce papers at the rate I was going in the stress of the b-5 and trying to figure out the wires....
