Holy Cow why would you want a stock that costs more than the stock marker? Go to General Merchindise here in the columbus area www.generalsway.com They have folding stocks that attach where the ASA does also and they aren't $100.

The benefit of the T2W stock is that it's also an air-through. Plus, with a little modding it can look pretty sweet.

So look at the Stock TheJudge posted for $30 then get a coil remote for another $30 and if you really want the remote to come out the "back" of the stock then zip tie it to the stock, but then you won't have the option of easily disconnecting the marker from you.

my advice dont waste your money on anything scenario style for a ion or any speedball tournaments marker.
Speedballers dont use stocks or remotes, so why should us light rifleman...thats my way of seeing things. We don't loose any agility or speed that way. You say the remote will lighten your gun but really in the end the remote will just get in the way of things sooner or later when you make those superman dives, baseball slides, or have to make a quick move some way or another.
Putting your tank on your marker is basicly your stock, as long as its not too bulky, put it right in your shoulder and hold onto it nice and tight, don't bazooka style it though.
Thats my advice, i'm not telling you what to do but its what i perfer and strongly suggest.
P.S. One more suggest
Look else where for things to buy other than specops before you buy from specops, alot of times Specops will be overpriced but they can do that becuase of who they are, when there are really just as good as stuff cheaper otherplaces. Not saying Specops doesnt make good products though.

The way i see ambush, is alot like a light dagger, quick, and light. The only diffrence is ones in the front more and ones around flanks or sneaking around. But as far as gear goes low profile and stuff like that for up close Dagger and ambushers go hand in hand.
DK or Bulldog might be able to talk a little bit more about that, but thats how i see it.
If your thinking a ambusher as a sniper who lays down and waits for someone to walk by for the long shot....don't even get me started on that. lol.

i agree with dirdy, the ion is mad to be light and quick, so why add anything to get in ur way like a stock. just hold the air tank tight to ur shoulder and ur ready to go. at least thats what i do and its worked pretty dang well if i dont say so myself.

If you're going to get the T2W, just buy the non-airthru. It comes pre-drilled for the airlines, so for about $8 you can add the fittings and airlines and save some cash.

if you do just go gun on may I recomend a 68 or smaller tank. I am betting a tank like mine(91 and 88 ) wouldnt be to comfy for you carrying it on gun lol.

T2WI have a T2W (here it is on my SP- :
In terms of stocks, it really is the most comfortable stock I've used (I've also tried the cheap versions). As you can tell from the picture I no longer use the gas through feature - I prefer the mobility that comes from not having a remote to the weight that the tank gives (and that's an 88cu tank).
My take on the whole stock vs weight and compactness boils down to preference. I've played with people who use stocks with Egos and I know people who have decked out A-5s with twenty pounds of cosmetic accessories but won't add a stock because they think it gets in the way. Depending on the game, I really like a stock because it let's you sit comfortably while you wait for the other team to show up with the gun up without killing your forearms, but other times I just want a gun that sits tight against my chest.
If you're not concerned with price, the T2W is a great choice because it really is the best stock I've tried, but if you're not convinced that you really want to use a stock on a regular basis, try the $30 version first, but keep in mind that the Ion wasn't designed to be a woodsball gun, so a cheap stock won't sit as well on it as the T2W which is made for tourney guns.
I live in Columbus, but if you want to see the T2W and you're coming this way, PM me and I'll show you mine so you can get a good feel for it before you spend the big bucks on one.
