The LandOK, I played the Land for the first time this weekend and I have to say that that plays sucks. $32 is rediculous for the area they have. We went with a group of 20 people and were told it would be $26 for everyone wether you had your own equipment or rented. We were also supposed to have the woods filed reserved for 4 hours. The equipment they rented was caked with old paint, the masks were rotten, and the field looked like a dumping fround. They were putting HPA in CO2 tanks also.Just my two cents. 
I will gladly drive to splatter park for now on. BTW, if you stop by ohio paintball before going to splatter park you can get a case of paint for $30 when you buy 3 cases. -Kazoo |

You can't use the paint you buy at Paintball Ohio at SplatterPark. SP is a Field Paint Only facility and they use a different shell color . It's still a great deal. $50 for field fee, a case of paint, 2 air fills & 2 hot dogs/bag of chips/botte of water at lunch. For open play it's the best deal in Ohio, I almost can't play a "free" outlaw game for that.
And Kazoo just so you know there is a reason I'm the FORMER field manager at The Land. Mainly was no time off and the wife threw a fit but I was also very tired of people saying what you just said to me and expecting me to be able to do something about it, I just ran the place I didn't set policy. The only thing you didn't complain about was the reffing, the ONLY thing I really had controll of while I was there and it plain SUCKED the last 3 times I was at The Land as well. Also how in the heck did they put HPA into CO2 tanks? HPA uses the fill nipple that CO2 tanks don't have. If you got that backwards and they put CO2 into a HPA tank that's a complaint I've heard about them in the past, even Dirdy has that warning out on PB Review. Best way to prevent that is keep your HPA tank on your marker and if they go to take it off then you can get indignet and say "That's an HPA tank you don't have to take it off to fill it" I have NEVER paid to play at The Land and it looks like I will only play there one more time since that's all the Ref Wrist Bands I have left. -Tim |

Paintball Ohio sells Wrek paint. I didn't think they made Wrek in different colors.
Your right I had it backwards, it was C02 in an HPA tank.

Yeah the stuff in the pro shops have Scarlett/Grey shells and the stuff at SplatterPark has Orange/Brown Shells.

Ohio State, Cleveland Browns Two best damn teams in Ohio lol. The Land is worth hitting up for speedball and woodsball both IF you have your own gear and are only playing $15 to play for the day. I have no idea why you had to pay $23 dollars a person. From what i know its only a extra $5 or so dollars to BYOP. Or at least if your a member it is. Splatterparks rental gear is probably maintained and cleaned better than the lands, but they are still 98Cs... |

While technically CO2 can be safely used in an HPA tank, for them to do it without specifically being ok'd by the customer is unfathomable! | ||||

We had trouble with them putting CO2 in fiber HPA tanks a while back. When you see high school kids doing the fills, you'd better pay attention to where they hook up your tank.
That price does seem a bit high - what are they charging this season if you have your own equipment? I need to get out and play more. |

Holy hell, The Land is more expensive than Splatterpark now. check it out http://www.landpaintball.com/index.php?menu=prices Field Fees All field fees include All Day HPA Air Fills. $17.00 when purchasing a case of paint $24.00 when purchasing a half case of paint $29.50 when bringing your own paint Say you get a case of paint on your own at PBOhio for $45 + 29.50 Thats about $75 compared to Splatter parks $50 for a case. Their paint prices are also kinda pricey, Field Paint (box of 2000 rounds) $57.99 Ultra High Grade $52.99 High Grade The Land is no where near as good as a park as splatterpark, what are they doing to justify this? Speedball? I always was a fan of TheLand since i can go there for a few hours and be home in 15 minutes, now i would rather spend a few extra bucks in gas on 71 North to go to Splatterpark for the day. |

PLUS TAX $29.50 * 6.75% Tax = $31.50 Under the OLD pricing All Day HPA was $10 more but yeah this pricing structure was again one of the reasons I'm the FORMER Field Manager. I was getting sick about listening to complaints about the cost and then Naaman raised them.... Yeah my wife threw a fit about me not getting any Saturdays off but honestly I doubt I would have lasted past June anyway becase I would have snaped. -Tim |

yea the price was the thing that upset me a lil when i went the last time but it made up for it with a target rich environment and our group basically closed the place down. I have never been to splatter park but it may soon become a place of play for me. 50 for a full day of play is by far the best price you will find. | ||||

well damn the land has changed a lot.. i used to ref there and it was only $12.. Naaman must need some money... but if i go up there some time ill talk to him to see if we cant get a team discount for being on a team or something. (since i know him he might) but yea thats outrageous.
P.S. When i worked there i never filled a HPA tank with CO2.
