I was just about to bring up the idea of a 2nd Sherwood trip after reading how fun you guys had.

I'm game.

I get back from Canada that week but i'll defintly try to get off work a 2nd weekend.

Don't have much planned for July except that first week unless we go to Putinbay but im game as of now.

so we need to decided this one quick guys. It is this or BF with Dead Rec.
I know Team WOW is going to the Viper game. If we are going to Sherwood in the fall then why not go to (BF)for a change. I know it is a one day game but a change in field and playing. We also hook up with local team. Team decision guys and we need to make it quick.

I agree with the more for the money, but right now there really is not much talk about the game on vipers site. Very little if any at this point.

I would rather go to the Battlefront game unless the viper gets bigger talk.If DR is going there why not just hit the BF one then, and shorter drive. We have the Sherwood fall one listed still. IMO!!

I am out for the Battlefront game as it is the tourney weekend 06-14 for me. Are we going to this one or not and what side are we joining?

I believe the dead line for early bird on this is Wed. so we need to decide and soon. Also the free case of paint is there to for the number of pre reg for your team as it was for the Dredd game.

Unknown which side yet, they don't have a second commander so I would like to wait until they have one to pick sides, but you can still pre reg and pick a side later. Will send Viper a email asking about this problem. Olddog

Ask him if we can still get the early bird rate then if we do not send it in right now. I don't want to send it in and then we decide we are not going as they don't have a commander for the event.

Bingo, you still need to fill out the standard Viper registration form, print it and mail it off to Viper within 2 days. Or you can print it, scan it and email it to him. On that form you have the option to declare a side.

I understand BD's views and thought, but you should know that this was not going to be a 1MG event. ONly about 3 of us are coming to this one.
I like the past RTS games and thought that this would be a good time to try commanding.
No prob. about you all signing up w/NOD, come by our camp friday night and share a beer or two.
Maybe we'll be along side eachother for the Deadlands game.

Viper has changed the LAW rules for now.

There will be a Heavy Weapons MOS, just like a Medic, Engineer and Demo. the Heavy Weapons Specialists will be the LAW and must carry that MOS card to shoot a carry and fire a LAW on the field. Propriety for this MOS will be given to those with commercially manufactured products and not the home made versions.

Awesome, then we will have no problem with getting them on the field as long as our commander purchases the MOS and equips them with it. Make sure that you find our commander on Friday and inform him that you can provide those for him. They will be very valuable and he will want to know that he has those options assuming he has the ability to get them the MOS card they need to shoot them.

Yeah, they had to change the rule for LAW's due to us showing up with over 20 at the Dredd game, LOL.

OldDog, Make sure you introduce yourself to Andy "Scourge", our commander, on Friday. I've talked to him about you already... most of it good... LOL. I won't be there until Saturday morning for this one.

I will be sending you a PM this week with our field plans. After studying the map we've had to change it some.

OD, walk the field on Friday too. There are changes since the last time you have been there. Some of them are pretty major around that bottle neck at the pond and the castle. There's alot more in the area what Blues Crew was trying to push through while you were holding the castle when we had the North Base at Judge Dredd.

There are also new bunkers going up the South Base Woods along the South Tap Line.

And yes, I have a radio for you to use of course.

how do we want to go as far as travel. i am willing to drive if someone wants to car pool. I can get four of us in the van if we use the back and the roof rack we can get the gear in and on the van if anyone is looking for a ride.

Last time to Sherwood was 30.00 each for gas and I think we used 15.00 or 20.00 for it each. I just filled up cost was 50.00 for a full tank and went there on a full tank last time for one way 364.00 miles

let me know if you want to car pool or how we want to do it.

Well i know OD needs a ride so I have him if he wants to go with me. Then I have to see if BD and Zoo want a ride also. I am more for giving a ride to the guys on the team first, not to offend anyone, but i want to make sure we get them there first.

I am also planniing on leaving around 8 or so.

Add Thomas to the hotel also, he will share my airmatress with me on the floor if there is room for it.

I can always bring a tent just incase also if i drive if there is no room.

AC im guessing will be hoteling it since he doesn't want to set up camp last minute if he drives up late that night.

But then again we can always set up camp for him and then when he arrives just crash in our tent....its a big tent for about 4 easily.

Just keeping the options open.

Also Bulldog is out, and cant make it this weekend so dont worry about waiting on his decision whether to leave late or not.

If bingo leaves late with Zoo, OD you can ride...oh wait thats way to much gear to fit in my Honda Civic lol. Unless i take the Spirit Van.

Bingo and OD drive up friday day or morning.

Zoo and I are leaving as soon as Zoo gets off work. Around 6 PM

AC probably wont make it since he can only get off at 10 earliest. Wish i could buy him a plane ticket Crying or Very sad

Bingo and OD im guessing your not bringing the tables and tens so we will just have to use our cars as camps? Maybe we can camp by DR.

I'll bring a coolor for us to share also.

We may only have 4 of us, but we can still work on alot of teamwork, it will just be that much easier or harder we will see. With DR on our side though we can come out on top as a supporting team.

yeah my plan also Dirdy is for us to hit the field as a 4 man qrecking crew for this one. If DR brings at least 4-5 with them we can call ourselves the OHIO Wrecking Crew..LOL !!

I plan to bring the pop up, new one that will give us somemore shad a cover at least. Will bring a tarp to strap to the side to cover the gear if itraisns there like it calls for.

If you and Zoo want to use the the room I am reserving then that is good with me and I can bunk with OD.

OD I told him if he wants to bing one of the tables for us I can take out three of the seats in the van for it to fit. That way there is a place to put stuff and if we can get two tables in there the better for us.

It will still be a good time for us with the four of sticking together then and having fun playing. We just have to keep together.

OD and I will figure on the leave time then also. Morning or afternoon time is good for me. If we leave afternoon I will just go in to work for half a day then leave. OD let me know what you want to do brother !!

DR is leaving Thur evening. We will rope off an area for you guys. We have 1 canopy on the camper and another portable one. I am trying to figure how much space you guys want me to hold? Do you know about the other crew--how much space they will need and are they also bringing a camper? if so we will be able to put a tarp from both campers.
We are bringing a grill also.
