Im just messing around on Free Webs seeing what i can do, i just made the account.....its amazing what you can do by coping and pasting lol. Hopfully i didn't break any copy right laws lol.

Some of the links will go to the old website so dont mind it i havnt changed everything, but added some pics, added some names, and stuff. Who knows if i can completly figure this stuff out maybe we can go free loll.

Our site us already linked to freewebs....that is where this started for us. Evol just came in and turned it into a html format. If I can ghet him to answer the email I can find the events and change it so that it is back up again.

I may be just getting rid of the html and returning it back to the freewebs set up or their boards. The only thing with that is that we loose the forum in the process.

So just leave it alone till I can get a answer from evol I hope here soon.

I've noticed that Evol is hit or miss...
He talked to me for about a week and then stopped talking to me. I've sent him messages while he was online on MSN but receive no answer.

He was trying to sell of his PB gear to me. But, then I heard nothing.

Yea I talked to him about a week ago and he said he was trying to get himself back up and running. He had some really hard family issues comeup and computer crashed on him also.

If I can figure out where he put the events html and got it to launch we would be back in business. I have the events page updated but just can not get it launched. I am no expert at html but was able to figure some of it out lately.

If I do not get a email I will call him that was one way I got ahold of him. i still have his cell phone.

Okay if you click on the events on the main page of the site it should come up now. The only thing I can not find and change is the banner to "2007" for the events.

Hope this helps you guys out I will keep trying to get the banner changed to 2007.

well looks like I will be working on th site after all on my free time. The main page just got destroyed on the freewebs site when I was working on it. It asked me to save and I did and it totally crashed on me.

So I think I will be working on the main page or call evol and see it he ahs it saved just give me some time here.

Jerry, if you can't recover your work, check out the link Dirdy posted above- it's got pretty much all the stuff. If you can't get it back up shoot me the account info and I will make time to restore and update it.

All it does not have is the index, which was the main page. The rest of it is okay, once we get the man page back. The problem is that it was in html, so unless Dirdy copied the html it will not be the same from recollection on it.

Any help is appreciated as I called evol this morning and have not heard back from him at all.

I got it stabilized for now. Once I dug in it wasn't too bad. I should be able to handle cleaning stuff up and doing some of the updates and features we never got to before.

I copied the HTML, from what my Freewebs offers me, i get HTML or the Easy builder both.

Its really simple for HTML i just realized i have used it before in forums and some on myspace...never would of thought of that. So if you guys need any help with the site, i know just about all there is to adding, updating, and so on to the site. Also i did update the roster...if you want to copy the roster then highlight the old roster and paste it should fill in. well that is for the Easy Builder part not the HTML.

Or what else you can do is Edit a name on the roster which no longer exisits on the team and add a new members name. and sub them out like that if your not familiar with HTML and dont see the pattern already shown.

P.S. I like the background lol....and it already looks like you edited the roster nice work Very Happy

Also bingo what i ment by the links is the links in my site went to the main website we are using now instead of the one i designed.

Thanks goes to Dirdy for fixing the main page as I destroyed it or freewebs did for some reason.

I have updated the roster on the main page also.

Josh thanks for offering to fix the problem to as it is nice to have teammates willing to chip in and help. I appreciate both of offering as I do know all about HTML some of it not all of it though.

Josh or Dirdy if you can find the area to fix the front page and change the 2006 events to 2007 that would be great.

OK, somehow SOME of the stuff on deltasquad.net is pointing to the scenariodeltasquad account, and some is pointing to the walkingtall acount. This is mangling the site, and making it a PITA to get all the pages to use the same background, roster list, and links.

I know I've been too busy to get this stuff wrapped up, and I know you guys are trying to help, but the code is getting really messed up. If you need to make changes, please do not EVER use ANY freewebs.com URLs in the links.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, that's a sure sign that you need to not ever go into the Webpage editor.

That's what I'm talking about. It was on the index page a couple of the others, but not all of them. Now that I have the links fixed I'll be able to bring that back.

Sorry if i confused anyone with anything, i dont have access to change anything so it wasnt me but i guess my website got mixed with the real one or offical one.

I realized it was a waste of time since i couldnt get the background and font and template the same so yeah dont trust me much more than bingo in the website lol.

The more I look at it, them more I think I'M the one who copied the pages from Dirdy's account to Bingo's to get the updated roster list and digi camo background, and then forgot to modify the links before going live... Embarassed

So I guess NONE of us should edit the website. Wink

I know Evol sent the files to me a while ago and the ones he sent me came up as corrupted when I tried to download them to send to Bulldog or whoever. That was a while back and of course he never answered my email that I sent to hima sking him to send them again.

If we could just change it back from HTML that would be good for us then also. If we know Evol was not coming back then I would not have let him touch the site....

Yah- Wa sthinking about rearranging the table a bit- I don't see a need to have the roster on every page, and our sponsor list could be lined up differently to give us more room for whatever data is on each page. I'll do some mock-ups next week and see what you guys think.

Works for me....I kind of got sick of going and trying to rearrange the roster on all the pages. Also take the marquee off of all the pages. i think we only need it on the front page..IMO !!

I also agree, its a pain to edit all of those. As long as it looks offical or like a professional made page and not like some high school kids web blog and have it organized in certain pages i could care less about the templates, flash and all that stuff even tho it makes it look cool.

What about PHP Nuke? You can make an impressive looking site w/o a lot of effort.

The site was run through the GoDaddy site and it expired. The problem is tha tthe guy who was on the team at one time sent it to me (expiration notice) the day before it expired and I could not get to it on time.

So I have emailed the GoDaddy and asked them if there is anyway we can renew this without him sending the notice to me. He says he sent it to me again, but when I check the account at the godaddy it does not show pending transfers to me anywhere which means the site expired (Domain)

Now if I can not get them to get me the domain back it will not expired and but back up for listing till 04-07-07. Then it will probably become some porn site connection then.

I will keep everyone informed once I get the info from them. We all may have to pony up some money to pay for the renewal or for a new host. Josh was looking into another host siie for the domain.
