Old Dog and I are  now the proud owners of Greywolf's little Sherman tank.  It's a plywood body on top of a 1970-something Cushman 10hp gas golf cart.    Seats two 200 lb. men- or one man and two children- comfortably.

Currently it's residing in OldDog's shop, awaiting some modifications.    We're looking at widening the wheelbase a bit, bumping it up to 10" wheels to increase the ground clearance, lightening the shell, increasing the interior room, and hotrodding the engine so it will climb trees.

I had thought it would need upgraded right away, but it's really nice enough to just run as-is this season.  A big thanks to Greywolf for hooking us up with a killer deal.

Here are the pics, from the ad (guns and air cannon were not included):

Old Dog: Here's that plastic sheeting...

Here are the wheels and tires we want.   We'll have to make wheel adapters to go from the proprietary Cushman lug pattern to the standard patter all the 10" wheels use.

I'd like to pick up some cheap used Warp feeds, big hoppers, cheap A5s, cheap T68/Milsig mag-fed-type  markers, remote airlines, braided SS air lines, quick-disconnect air fittings, etc.

I'd like to set the top turret up with dual War-fed T68s with the paint coming in the bottom, which would reduce the profile.   I also want to run airlines through out so that all the markers and cannons can run off one large CO2 or HPA tank.

why not keep the 98s and do a 90* elbow on there with the warp feeds?  thatway you save some $$ and you still get the low profile.  or even mill the elbows on there to acept the warp without the 90* elbow.

lol didnt see that part. but you still could use 98s since they can be found used pretty cheap just to save some cash. also what are you going to do for the main cannon then?  Are you putting a new one in or just not going to use it?

OD is working on the cannon thing.   Right now it is set up for a marker-based cannon, which is all you can use at OK D-Day and some other events.   Hell Survivors does not allow you to use cannons- though we might be able to do paint grenade launchers.  We'll have to be able to flex between no cannon, marker-based, Nerf, and paint grenade.

The most used weapon on the thing will be the dual machine gun on top, but we'll also need other turrets on the bottom for defense- this thing is going to be a massive Nerf magnet at Sherwood Forest.   That's also why it will be important to refit it for a 3-man crew - in many places the driver isn't allowed to operate a weapon while the tank is in motion, and the RPGs will be coming from every direction.

Sounds like this will be fun, some light gunners on the outside running around flanking all the RPGers lol.

The Firestorm cranks are insane I've helped attache one to my buddy's A-5 before but the most fun was when it was on his AR-15  Twisted Evil

The Firestorm cranks are legal just about everywhere since it's not electronic and requires constant motion to keep firing.

Since BD is involved yeah paint that puppy MarPat and I can add subdude Delta Squad Logos to it  Cool
