I have to say that I was a little nervous starting out as Commander. The communication issue was hard to deal with. but it all worked out in the end. My VIP award goes to idku53. He managed to steal my pig back which is what apparently sealed the other teams fate. I never found out exactly how many points it was worth but Jamie told us it was worth more than anything else in the game. Special thanks to Dirdy and Barky for busting me out of jail. That pissed Jamie off to see me broke loose in 3 minutes. Out-freaking-standing job.
Team spirit award goes to Bulldog. On one of the runs I sent everyone on with the merc leading, BD decided to get in the woods while everyone else ran the tape line. He saw movement ahead and took one guy out when all of the sudden he heard "surrender or die" by some worm lying in the grass. He could either surrender and let him turn around and take out half the team or take one for the team and get lit up. He decided to take the pain and get shot which warned the rest of our guys and they lit this guy up and where able to complete their task which resulted in us getting all of their pigs and booze. WAY TO GO BD!!!!
Best barrel tag award is a tie between Zoo and one of the mercs I hired. Not sure if I got this right so feel frre to correct me. Zoo had seen me going to jail and followed us. when the shooting started with Dirdy and Sparky, zoo came up from behind and barrel tagged the 2 mercs that were guarding me. They other tag happened when I sent our merc up the tapeline to get my pig back. The kid walked up behind Steve and tagged him. He said that was the first time he had ever been barrel tagged. Thanks Zoo
The insertion behind us was done by Gary without Jamie’s knowledge. I thought they walked in on their own which is what pissed me off. Just goes to show you to always have a 360 perimeter around the base.
Special thanks goes to Viper and his team Sinister. They were the second best team on the field . They did an outstanding job and carried out every order I gave them. That crazy little suicide kid actually made it to the Paw Paw bush at the end of the game. lol
I don’t know if everyone knew but OD and I made the decision to stay away from each other at the beginning of the game and it was a good thing. They had a bounty on us but we had to be together.
I can't forget the big man (you are probably getting sick of hearing that phrase) Mr. Pain. Thanks for staying back and being my sheild all day.
Everyone did an outstranding job and worked as one the whole day. It was hard sitting back there all day but it was rewarding. Next game will be the 8 vs 8 tornament. Come out and watch us mop the field.

| Yesterday went really well. Gary did a good job with the story line and with reinsertion points. Kinda wish they did it like Sherwood where we could reinsert from our own bases instead of starting in the middle and walking all the way back to the base. Teams were a bit lopsided which resulted in a lot of down time. Other than that, it was a good game and another great day of paintball. |

Now that I have more info I dont think the team were that lopsided. From what I hear their commander was out fighting and not commanding and they never used mercs. It doesnt sound like ther was any organized effort on their side. They were in the lead the first 3 hours and were staying in ther until we stole the golden pig back.
Keep in mind I could be wrong on what I heard. _________________ -Kazoo |

Rico, Wings, Hollywood. Kyle (Wings buddy), and anyone else i missed was also right there to get ya out. We were lucky to have everyone there at the right time.
It was funny at first when we heard you yelling were like....is this a trick, really confused? But then i asked Barky after hearing your voice a few times and it was like oh it's Kazoo....yeah we probably should take it more serious and get him out lol.
I felt bad for who ever was trying to keep you in jail....they had no chance once we jumped in.
The teams were equal to me, but when some of the red teams started to leave at the end of the day thats what killed them also, along with the commander.
an i will have to admit, the teams and players we played against this game was far better, when it came to respect, sportsmanship and just having fun out there compared to the Spring Bash. I rarely got overshot, and half the time after i shot someone they were yelling great shot or good move and stuff. Not cursing at us lol. So it was a great day, one of the best days i have had in a long time. Even better weekend haha. _________________

I know, it was funny as hell from my position. I warned them when we were going in. My boys are gonna put a hurtin on you. You better let me go. I need to be a ref some time that is a pretty cool perspective knowing where everyone is at and watch it unfold.
Thanks to the rest of the team that was there. _________________ -Kazoo |

Great game by all. Each member of the team is really helping each other and filling whatever role is needed.
Kazoo did a great job as commander. Handled the 'no radios' handicap very well. Plus we got to see some of his acting skills. I cracked up when he poured on the Southern accent and really hammed it up.
I'm not as sore as I thought I'd be, so that is good.
I don't know what was more fun: helping break Kazoo out of jail....only to be confronted by a pack of Red players that had just 'hot reinserted' about 30 feet to my left, or sniping Red guys while hiding under the bridge (after they ambushed us from behind our base).
Can't wait til next time. |

I agree, sportsman ship was so much better. They did a lot better this time with the chrono, no one was shooting hot, I didn't really witness any cheaters/wipers, and I did hear a lot of hey nice shot instead of s*** or f*** and the whole 9 yards lol. |

I wanted to thank all for making me feel really at home. I really enjoy playing with the team and look forward to many more outings. Kazoo, I got your back anytime any place. I glad I got to throw a little more paint than last time.OD thanks for all the guidance, you're kinda like Obi Wan Kanobe just a lot older.

Everyone from Sinister had a great time rolling with Delta Squad. Hopefully we can do more events together in the future. We are scheduled to go to Battlefront on Sept. 19. If you guys can make it, that would be great. Delta Squad players are a great bunch of guys!
