I really like BDUs but are the paintball pants that much better or is it a matter of opinion?

Not so much opinion rather preference.  But that is my personal opinion Wink

Hey Bulldog, not sure what experience you have had with TRU-SPEC, but in my opinion, they are better than Propper International.
I've had other TruSpec BDUs that held their color fine, but the old marpat was bad.   A bunch of the guys here could show you their old TruSpec marpat, which after one wash (cold, gentle, special detergent for dark fabrics) faded noticeably, and after a season of use looked more like ACUPat.    The new ones your selling are definitely a whole new design, and apparently they improved the dye too.   I'll give them another try as soon as I wear out what I've got.

I saw that combat shirt and I really like it.  It's a mix of under armor and BDU.  If they don't fade I may invest in one.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about these?

If you are referring to the TRU-SPEC combat shirt, I own one myself.  However, I have only worn it 3 or 4 times, so I can not say for certain that it will hold up as much as the Tactical Response Uniforms.  I really love mine though, it kept me cool during the summer games while wearing a vest, yet provided all the nice features on the arms as the ACU Combat Uniforms from Propper and TRU-SPEC offers.

MilSim Products will also be carrying ARES Tactical Apperal very soon as well.

These are brand new to the market--came out this year.

I will let you know how resistant they are to fading in a couple years.

So, I bought the combat shirt.  I really like it.  I'll let you all know who it holds up on the field
