Well, it does add range, but sacrifices accuracy. It is also very hard on paint due to the way the barrel is rough and curved to induce spin on the ball. _________________

get an apex, I have had a FL and like the apex much better than the FL and it is not pickie on the paint. FL is very pickie and is inaccurate also of course that is IMO with the using both of them. _________________ If you find a tree big enough to get behind, push your teammate out from behind it.

My Opinion Too, couldn't have said it better
I'll add you can trun the apex on and off for different applications and gain about 1 or 2 deg around a bunker if you are just barley missing someone behind the bunker then you can spin the apex and throw a curve ball and tag him. This is not near as drastic as BT makes it sound but it has been usefull in the past, till my wife stole my apex

All you really need to make sure on is that the barrel tip is straight, no curve or expanding on the end of it. Also you will need a adapter for the edn of the barrel that you decide to use it on. You can get one from J&J as they have just started or have started to make on. Also Under Ground Mod Shop also makes one.
Then once you get one presto you can use it on any barrel you want. I have mine on a S/P linear rifled barrel on the sp8 and I love that set up right now. I have been able to reach out and tag some with it. Will put them on the Double Trouble set up once I get the money to get a second one for it. _________________ If you find a tree big enough to get behind, push your teammate out from behind it.

Yeah, just tried 2 different Flatlines for the A5, and I def loved my APEX a lot more than my FL's. Get a sweet barrel and put the APEX on it. _________________

I agree with everyone else. The flatline is a waste of money. I have one I will give to anyone that wants it.

It honestly depends. I had a FL and loved it while I had it. if you have it dialed in just ight you will hit just as well. I switched my style of play dramatically in the last year or so which makes both kind of useless for me. _________________ Stay low, run fast, and hope that paintball doesnt hit your ...

| Well I for one love it!! never could seem to get the apex to work. I have 2 for my A5s and one for my 98 can't complain. yes you do lose accurcy BUT when you play on a team your job is suppression when you use it. Others would be able to manuver around to flank while you put heads down with the distance shot. worked in the past!! |

firehunter has a wonderful point. I did use it more to put down supression fire or put fire down on a far target. Since then I switched my style of play though quite a bit. Thats the main reason I stopped using it. _________________ Stay low, run fast, and hope that paintball doesnt hit your ...
