Well we had another great time again at this event desipte the rain on Friday night. We get there and the camp spot is SMALL for a motorhome or roving HQ. Doug and Kevin are there waiting for us with the grill going and the chili (which was awsome). We get the MH parked and start to unload and set the tables up for us to use for the weekend.

Now keep in mind the spot we are in has the MH on it and we are suppose to be able to park 2 additional cars there also. Then one of the guys running the thing or directing people comes over and tells us that we can not park the 2 additional cars there. Okay !! The why did they give us 2 additional passes then....OH well the cars or vehicles have to be able to park on the lot between the 2 white post that mark the lot....(smak the forhead) Well we moved the cars and that was done. Just would ahve been nice to know that ahead of time.....

Now onto the event !! We get up at 630am and start to get the gear out and ready before we head up to registration. Once we are done with that we start to mingle up to the registration and breeze through that area. If you pre register with this event it makes it so much easier for you when you get there. If you bought the paint then you can go to the trailer and get the box or amount you bought from there. I had to purchase my paint still.

Once we got all of us there and supplie some of us headed back to the roving HQ and filled the pods and grab the gear to head back to the staging area and claim a spot for us. We got next tot he GLR guys and set up a table there for the day. Chrono had two areas and the went quick as they had about 6 or 7 referee's in there to get the jopb done quickly.

As we waited for the time to come for the insertion. Bulldog checked with the GLR guys on the channel and the areas that needed to be captured for the points first. Once we got that info we planned accordingly as to wheter we are going to hook up with them or run our own team in. We decided to follow them out and see what takes place then play it by ear.

We get inserted and off we go to fire base bravo for the first base to get. Once we are in the commanding officer (one that know what they were doing) barked out what direction he needed the team's to goto. We got sent to West Point. Once we knew where we were going off we went into the woods to the north of the WP base. As we get closer we can hear the roar of the guns going back and forth. Well the Tippmanns rolled right through the WP base after about a 10-15 minute fight. As the team wheeled up to the right of the base some resisitance was still being given by the World Team.

Slowly the World Team gave way and the Tippmann Team moved forward to the Tippmann Hill. As we moved to the TH we came upon some resisitance but smashed it down after a few minutes of a fight. We started to move to the hill and take it with some reisitance. Our team hit the top of the hill and we held onto it for some time. Then the WT inserts a truck load of players into the area and we start to get a fight for the hill.

As we fight the WT gets a airplane insertion to the right flank of us on the hill. Well that was a sign to get out of dodge before it hits the fan. Well it hit the fan before we could get out of there and we were now in a raging fight with the WT. OH Man did we get into a fight !! Most of the other members from the TT had taken off and there we were the members of DS and GLR left holdiing onto the hill by ourselves.

I poped a smoke grenade out for cover so that most of us would have somewhat of a chance to fall back and make the WT have to come to us in the open area and get them out of the dense vegitation. Then we just sat and waite for them to come to us and lay it on them for a change.

That is just one of the many events of the day for us on Sat. and Sun.. We had a great time meeting new people and getting to hang with others like the ladies next to us, Nails and Princess. They were a great bunch to hang around, and it was Nails first event to be at for paintball.....
