Thats sweet, im not going out to spend 400+ bucks on a new tippmann with my Occasionally Functional Spacegun already but i wouldnt mind a few mods to the a5. i wonder if they can conver to the x7 and a5.
Thats a great price for scenario play. cost is low only need co2 and no agi hopper, basicly just need to modify it to your liking and grab a new barrel.
Not the best for Speedball tho which is why i am walking away for tippmanns as my main markers.
If your going to play both might as well go with the speedball marker if you know what i mean. especialy for the same amount of price minus the HPA and Agi hopper. _________________

I like the design of it !! But I guess I will wait and see what add ons they will have for this also. It definetly is something to look at though for us scenario players that like the tippmann's.
I am still shooting for the double trouble set up if I can get another a5 that is. _________________ If you find a tree big enough to get behind, push your teammate out from behind it.

i have been planning on getting a backup gun and this may be it, or my A-5 may go to backup. It depends on price and threading of the barrels. _________________ Stay low, run fast, and hope that paintball doesnt hit your ...

heh id use the a5 as a backup with the x7 as the main marker.
But with the price it might be wise to build your gear first like vest, radio, barrel, camis and all that stuff before you worry about a backup. _________________

no u have to purchase the egrip after market, it doesnt come with the gun initially. but i figure that eventually itll be like the a-5 is with u being able to buy a standard, response, or egrip straight up. this thing looks like the gun of the future, so im hopin the mods are sweet _________________

i assume that when the e-grip comes out (30-45 days after the gun itself) i will be able to just buy it on there. At least I hope so _________________ Stay low, run fast, and hope that paintball doesnt hit your ...

Its most likley one of the best tippmanns out there now since the A-5 is one of the best with a few mods. But dont drop your a-5s all a sudden now...it might have the same internals exactly like the A-5
The only diffrence may be the mods to the A-5 for Scenario and a upgraded Cyclone feed. Tippmann was stupid to not jump on selling tippmann mods where they lost money, now they will sell their own line of mods to make more money lol. _________________

I wont drop my a-5 but i will prolly still get this gun. If you go on the sight and look look at the product manual you can actually see the new e-grip controls and it is basically a switch in your safety. you move the safety up to a point for the fire modes. also i just like the outer design more than the a-5 just because i am all about the scenario gun. _________________ Stay low, run fast, and hope that paintball doesnt hit your ...

Hey guys, I see you watched the video as well. I have been talking to everyone I can about this marker because I am pumped to get one.
It will have 3 versions: basic, response, egrip. It doesn't accept A5 stocks because it is air thru now. The one thing I am waiting to hear about is the barrel threading. Also, it will not accept the A5 egrip.
I am really looking forward to getting the X7 for personal reasons. Some people may not find the upgrade from the A5 to be worth it because the X7 is quite a bit more expensive.
By-the-way, I am unfortunately going to have to sell my A5 to get this. I am almost sick to my stomach thinking about it because I am attached to my A5 and it has been through a lot with me. But if anyone is willing to give it a good home here is a link. http://www.neosmut.com/vb/tippmann/690-fets-a5.html#post4350
If you have a rule against selling on the forum please take that link out, and I apologize. I didn't post with the intention of selling it but after talking about the X7 I remembered I have to sell my A5 before my wife will let me get the new one!
Also, anyone going to the Solomon's game on the 19th at Battlefront? _________________
